I am married with three children (one now a bona fide grown-up!). I have been teaching for twenty years at three different schools, in contrasting contexts – urban and rural, large and small. In my spare time, I enjoy sport – enthusiastically watching football, rugby and cricket, run slightly less enthusiastically, do some reluctant DIY, but mainly spend my time driving our family ‘taxi’! As a family, we are part of a large Church in Exeter (Exeter Network Church) which keeps us sane and smiling while we’re doing the other bits!
