Believing and achieving together to be the best we can be

Mark Humphries

Foundation Governor

I have lived in Feniton since 2010 with my wife Clare, and our two daughters Amelia (Year 6) and Jenna (Year 3).

I have been a School Governor since 2014, and currently hold the portfolio’s of Lead Safeguarding Governor, and Chair of the Admissions Committee.
I am often found to be actively involved in basic DIY/maintenance at both schools, we always welcome  more parents/carers who have some spare time to help, whether unskilled, or those with specialist skill sets.
I am Police Constable with Devon & Cornwall Police having served since 2004, I have also worked as a retail manager, catering manager, and chef.
I am active member of the Army Reserve (formerly the Territorial Army) since 1990 this has enabled me to serve on operational tours and to travel widely, as well as represent the the reserves in the Regimental Shooting Team.
I enjoy going to the gym, but my free time is mostly governed by the girls activities, swimming, gymnastics, as a family we regularly attend Storytime at St Andrews Church
